OUR POOLS

THE FIRST SWIM SCHOOL IN THE USA TO USE SHIPPING CONTAINER POOLS! 🇺🇸

Built with purpose. Designed for progress.

For the first 18 years, Liquid Lifestyles® operated without a permanent home—leasing pool space at private clubs, gyms, and public recreation centers across the region, state, and even hosted clinics across the country. That combined experience became one of our greatest assets.

We had the unique opportunity to observe what worked—and what didn’t—when it came to swim instruction environments. From water temperature to deck layout, acoustics to visibility, we saw firsthand how facility design can either support or hinder effective learning. When it came time to build our own swim schools, we brought that knowledge with us.

Westlake: Innovation in Every Inch

We began planning to build our first location at the beginning of 2018 but we were interrupted by a global pandemic! The pause actually helped us fully develop this innovative new pool concept. In May 2022, we opened our flagship facility in Westlake, Ohio— the first swim school in the USA to receive commercial pool approval using re-engineered shipping containers.

Our above-grade pools are made from recycled shipping containers, dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of construction and ongoing operation. Side-mounted viewing windows let parents and coaches observe technique and effort below the surface, where the real learning happens. Every detail—from climate control to acoustics to water temperature—was designed to enhance instruction and student comfort.

North Royalton: Built for Growth

In 2024, we opened our second location in North Royalton. This facility features larger pools, expanded capacity, and a flexible layout that allows us to add a third pool in the future as demand grows.

While each location is unique, both are united by the same core principles: intentional design, expert instruction, and an unwavering focus on student progress.

designed for accelerated learning

Every feature of our facilities was designed with one goal: to help swimmers learn faster, safer, and with more confidence—from their very first splash to advanced performance work.

👀 UNDERWATER VIEWING WINDOWS: 60 feet of crystal-clear visibility so parents can watch technique and progress where it really happens—beneath the surface— and the photo ops are EPIC! 📸

🌬️ MULTI-LEVEL LAYOUT: Warm air stays near swimmers; cooler spectator zones above keep families comfortable without barriers or glass walls.

☀️ ADVANCED UV SANITIZATION + AIR FILTRATION: Fewer chemicals, cleaner air, and a healthier environment for swimmers, coaches, and families.

🪜 SHALLOW STEPS: Gentle entry points help our youngest or most anxious swimmers build comfort and confidence at their own pace.

🌊 DEEP WATER: Unlike most swim schools, we offer true deep water for teaching treading, deep starts, flip turns, advanced stroke mechanics, and competition prep.

🌡️ WARMER WATER: The ideal temperature for swim instruction is significantly higher than what most recreational facilities maintain. Our pools are maintained at different temperatures to ensure maximal comfort for BOTH students and coaches: 89-90º in our learn-to-swim pools for comfort and relaxation, 87-88º in our deep pools: warm enough for comfort, yet cool enough for focused training.

🎯 DIVE BLOCKS: Allow competitive swimmers to train with proper equipment from day one.

🌊 INFINITY JET: A continuous current for adults who want endurance workouts or technical form training—no flip turns required.

🛶 REMOVABLE DOCKS: Let us adapt the pool layout instantly to match lesson goals, swimmer ages, or group size.

🤝 HANDRAILS: Support balance, control, and body position for skill-building activities across all levels.

🦶 TOE LEDGES IN DEEP WATER: Allows for rest and security during instruction while maintaining the full value of deep water work.

🚪 PRIVATE CHANGING ROOMS: Boasting private changing rooms and family restrooms, your comfort and privacy was a priority in our design process.

👥 ULTRA SMALL CLASS SIZES: During COVID we reduced class sizes from 4:1 to 2:1. And it became clear - SMALLER IS BETTER! Our coaches preferred the smaller group class format and our student's skills advanced faster. The talent of our coaches and our industry-recognized curriculum has no match when our classes are limited to 2 students.
