Introducing a groundbreaking achievement in aquatic education: Liquid Lifestyles® Shipping Container Pool Swim School – a pioneering concept that fuses innovation, commitment, and a whole lot of passion! After an eventful 4-year journey filled with our fair share of challenges, setbacks and dramatic twists & turns (not to mention a global pandemic), we were thrilled to unveil our revolutionary two-pool, above-grade swim school facility in Westlake, opened March 2022. Brace yourself for this splash of excitement as we proudly stand as the FIRST EVER commercially approved shipping-container pool in Ohio and the first swim school in the United States to employ this novel construction method! 😎

Our ingenuity goes beyond aesthetics – it's all about intelligent design that enriches your experience. With over two decades of perfecting our science-based curriculum and nurturing a team of highly experienced coaches, we've honed a winning formula. The powerful combination fueled our growth and sustained our success - all we needed was our own water!

Our journey to design our built-just-for-us swim school commenced in 2017, with a vision to create the ultimate Liquid Lifestyles aquatic training facility. Our goal? A space that equalled the strength of our curriculum and coaches, elevating the learning process and improve the overall experience of our swimmers. For years, Liquid Lifestyles leased pool space at multitudes of locations throughout Northeast Ohio, across the State and around the country. We saw the good, the bad and the ugly. Our wide range of facility experience uniquely positioned us to recognize which features facilitated quality instruction and which ones didn’t. We took a deep dive into researching modern pool design and spent a year traveling to swim schools and attending swim school conferences across the country. We then spent two years (during a global pandemic, no less) Our research and design efforts led us to a revolutionary manufacturing process that fabricates pools from recycled shipping containers!

🌡️ WARMER WATER: The ideal temperature for swim instruction is significantly higher than what most recreational facilities maintain. Our pools will maintain different temperatures to ensure maximal comfort for BOTH students and coaches.

🚪 PRIVATE CHANGING ROOMS: Boasting seven private changing rooms and two fully equipped family restrooms, your comfort and privacy was a priority in our design process.

🤫 SERENITY: Our multi-level space minimizes noise and distractions, fostering a focused, intimate learning environment for students, while offering a unique underwater view for parents.

🤪 LESS CHAOS: In a large pool setting, distractions are inevitable. We intentionally designed a multi-level space to minimize noise, visual distractions, and to create a more intimate experience for our students. Parents and spectators will have a FIRST EVER and truly remarkable underwater view, all while conveniently staying “behind the scenes” and allowing the swimmers to stay focused on learning.

🌬️ CLIMATE COMFORT: Warm air rises. A perfect scenario to keep our swimmers warm and our spectators cool. Instead of using a physical glass wall barrier to separate swimmers and spectators, we’ve simply utilized physics to do the work for us - allowing us the opportunity to continue communicating openly and regularly with our parents - BONUS!

☀️ UV SANITATION & STATE OF THE ART AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM: Just wait until you see what powers this whole thing! A very large, and very state-of-the-art air filtration system also ensures healthy air quality, regardless of the season. You can’t put a price tag on the health benefits of fewer chemicals and better air quality. We spared no expense and are sure you’ll appreciate it!

ACCELERATED LEARNING

We knew that no one pool could do it all. That is why we deliberately chose a 2-pool design. Both of our pools have a unique set of physical characteristics, features and conditions to maximize learning for each skill level.

👥 ULTRA SMALL CLASS SIZES: During COVID we reduced class sizes from 4:1 to 2:1. And it became clear - SMALLER IS BETTER! Our coaches preferred the smaller group class format and our student's skills advanced faster. The talent of our coaches and our industry-recognized curriculum has no match when our classes are limited to 2 students. And these are RESULTS that you can SEE, with 60 feet of windows, you’ll have a direct view!

🌊 MULTIPLE DEPTHS: We coach ALL AGES and ALL ABILITY LEVELS. A shallow pool with steps is great for infants, children and even anxious adults. But learning how to tread water and swim in water over your head is a critical life-saving skill. You also need deep water if you are a competitive athlete learning or perfecting flip turns or block starts. We have both, so we don't have to compromise.
